Jessica Winderl is an American yoga teacher (ERYT 500), Ayurveda Yoga Therapist, and the Founder/Director of the Atman Yoga School (www.atmanyogaschool.com). She lives outside of Oslo, Norway on an urban homestead with her husband and two husky puppies.
She also teaches and lectures at yoga festivals across the US and Europe (including the Bhakti Fest, Copenhagen Yoga Festival, Portugal Spirit Festival, Sedona Yoga Festival, Oslo Yoga Festival, Helsinki Yoga Festival, and the Arctic Yoga Conference), and leads workshops and teacher trainings in Europe.
Jessica is known for her creative and unique vinyasa flow sequences, and her ability to make yoga philosophy accessible and relevant to the modern yogi. Students often comment that they connect to Jessica’s teachings because of her compassionate and encouraging personality, and her dedication to honoring the roots of the teachings.
She strives to embody her practice of yoga daily, both on and off her mat. When teaching, Jessica draws on knowledge and inspiration from the Ashtanga, Iyengar, Anusara, and Bhakti traditions.
